Crisis Relief and Recovery is a national disaster relief and response organization based in State College, Pennsylvania. We exist to serve and strengthen communities before, during and after a crisis by training and deploying leaders who develop community resilience, coordinate relief, support recovery, and ensure no one faces the storm alone.
Natural disasters are chaotic. Often, one of the biggest obstacles to a successful recovery for a community is organizing the relief efforts.
Before the storm we prepare churches, community groups, and local governments to serve their community during a crisis, and train individuals to deploy to disaster affected communities. During a storm, our Immediate Relief teams show up with compassion, clarity, and hope. After a crisis, we help communities navigate the road to recovery.

If you can’t keep yourself alive, you won’t be able to help others. So our teams are highly trained and self-sustained
